On 5 and 6 October, several members of the Valencian Extended Reality Association (AVRE) participated in the second edition of the Virtual Worlds Connect Brokerage Event, an international online event focused on virtual worlds, XR and immersive technologies.

AVRE co-organised the event with XR4Europe, XR Polska and the Polish national contact points for digital transformation and Industry 4.0, with support from Eirmersive and XR Wallonia HITT. The initiative brought together 154 participants from companies, universities, research and technology organisations, public bodies and innovation support entities.

The programme combined information sessions on upcoming Horizon Europe calls, short project and expertise pitches, thematic rooms and one-to-one meetings. Its aim was to help participants develop proposals, find partners and build European consortia around XR and virtual worlds.

AVRE's presence helped showcase the capabilities of our members while bringing new international collaboration opportunities closer to Valencia's ecosystem. Our participation in XR4Europe strengthens this bridge between local talent and an increasingly connected European network.

We continue working to make AVRE membership a gateway to new contacts, projects and opportunities beyond our region.
